Are you committed to what you really want in life?
You go through every day reflecting on the life that you think will bring you peace, happiness, and fulfillment. It is a fact that thoughts are the father of action. Actions produce habits, and this in turn creates the life you experience.
Thus, you should examine what is happening to you in your key life areas to ensure that you get your heart’s desires. You should have written in clear and specific terms what it is that you want for your life. Congratulations, if you have already documented your plan of direction. Visit the document and confirm that you have not changed your mind. If you have not met this first requirement, get going, and do it.
Next, examine what are the two or three strategies that you have to commit to, so that you can deepen your success. For example, you may need to spend less time being aimless, and doing unrewarding things. Accompanying your strategies should be definite action plans to deliver your intentions. If you are going on vacation, you spend some time planning it. Your life needs planning also.
An interesting point is that your actions may be producing habits that do not serve delivery of what you want in life. If so, then re-assess your actions, and build new capacity consistent with your goals.
You have the power to creature the future you want. The choice is yours to design the future you want, but this has to be with a commitment to dedicated action that is consistent, relevant, and focused. You are the star of your show. Produce it.
