RELIEVE YOUR STRESS
Relieve Your Stress
Life is complex, with distractions, challenges and opportunities.
Stress is simply your emotional response to what occurs in your
life. Follow for 30 days this structured technique for 5 minutes
twice per day, at about 6.00 AM and 6.00 PM to improve
effectiveness in your life.
Sit comfortably in a straight back chair with your back and
spine in an upright position perpendicular to the floor. (or sit
in a lotus position with an erect back and spine posture). Relax
with your hands uncrossed.
Close your eyes, take three deep breaths, and then breathe normally:
1. Observe your breathing without changing it.
2. Become aware of the space your body occupies, but continue
observing your breathing.
3. Be conscious of the chair you are sitting on.
4. Be conscious of where your feet meet the floor.
5. Be conscious of the upright posture of your back, all the time
observing the rhythm of your breathing.
6. Be aware of the air passing through your nostrils, as you breathe
in, and you breathe out.
7. During this breathing process, thoughts will arise. Do not fight
these thoughts, but gently, and innocently observe your breathing.
At the end of the exercise sit quietly for 15 seconds, and then
open your eyes slowly and gently. You will now be feeling relaxed,
and will be more confident to take on your challenges.

WHAT IS YOUR STORY?
One of my international coaches, Mike Litman, sent me a DVD of a week-end
workshop he held for Lifestyle Coaches in the USA. He enquired of them whether
they had been sharing their stories, as this keeps the attention of their markets.
This led me to think of my own story, and the system I used for my success. The

Part of my story after the age of normal retirement, is shared in my coauthored
book, A search for Purpose, and states in part as follows.
“In 1993 at the age of sixty, I retired from the National Commercial Bank
as Chairman and Managing Director. My new career of Lifestyle Coach was
building people directly, rather than focus on growth and transformation of institutions.
“The Lifestyle Coaching Industry had not yet penetrated Trinidad
and Tobago. I pioneered this growth opportunity. My experience of relatedness
in life and careers, naturally supported a lifestyle coaching methodology.
This led me to understand that one of my roles was to be “my brother’s

Act Now For Your Progress Or Success
Your progress or success relies on proper timing, and speed of action. People in the world who make things happen, value and share a sense of urgency in doing what strikes them as needed to be done. You can step up to better performance in your life by acting timely on your urges and desires. Acting with alacrity will provide results that astound you.
No matter how intelligent or capable you are, if you do not have a sense of urgency (not impatience) you will not blossom as beautifully as you are capable of becoming. You can embrace, or deepen, from today a philosophy of, DO IT NOW. This new attitude will change your life dramatically in a positive way, and the time to start is NOW. Create a massive sense of urgency in all the key things you need to do. Do not delay.
To start following your new DO IT NOW philosophy, consider three (3) important things that you have been intending to do, but you have not done them. Pick important activities that you have been thinking and tinkering about, and commit to start them today with a mind-set to finish them.
Get started to become the masterful person that is inside of you. Embracethe DO IT NOW philosophy, as to delay is to decay. Your progress or success is linked directly to your goals.
Settle on your goals program, and this will be your guide to support you in taking action at the appropriate urgent time. You must take action when it needs to be taken, where it needs to be taken, although you may not feel like taking it. Follow the whispers of your heart, do it now, and you will release the greatness that is in you.
Remember that it is not the goals themselves that are important, but your passionate desire to achieve, and the consistent relevant action you take appropriate to achieving the goals.
