5 Pillars Of Commitment For Your Success

Reflection # 7 of 260 Reflections from

the book, Reflective Empowerment,

that was judged by Reader Views as

the Walsh Seminars Award for Best

Personal Growth Book of the Year, 2010.

Reflection 7. Five Pillars of Commitment for your success

Your commitment should be to keep doing what you agreed with yourself, and with others to do, despite your reluctance, and strong feeling not to continue to do it. Success is the result of making and keeping commitments with yourself, and others. The 5 Pillars of Commitment for your success are:

Continuous life long learning

Follow your dreams powerfully, and without reserve

Do your best always, although it might mean leaving your

comfort zone

Pursue a life of love, and kindness

Persevere with your will to win and succeed

There are also 4 Agreements of Life that you should make with

yourself to power and guide your success. These agreements are:

Do not make assumptions. Enquire and clarify what the situation is.

Do not believe that you can read the other person’s mind. Often you

will be wrong, and making assumptions destroy relationships.

Do not take things personally. Most times what a person says or does

is a reflection of the baggage the person is carrying. People’s wrong

opinion of you should not become your reality.

Always be your word. Whatever you say, honor it, and to do this you

must be careful, in the first place, with what you say

• Give your best efforts at all times. No one can blame you if you have

given your all. You design your future by what you do from moment

to moment. Thus, every moment is precious and valuable; so invest

in your life moment by moment through following the 5 Pillars of

Commitment, and the 4 Agreements of Life outlined above.

You have the power to be your best by starting each day with speed of action, continuing the momentum during the day, and finishing the day with strong commitment. You have the talent within to shine brightly in your life. Release your brilliance. You can do it.

  1. You have to be in alignment with yourself to be successful. Your conscious and subconscious minds must be in agreement on any matter, request or desire for it to be manifested. http://www.nurturinglifebooks.com
