Are You Stuck?
You can rise above the negativity around you.
You are influenced by the energy around you. The thoughts and actions of others
impact on your own feelings and emotions. That is the reason for your feeling
down, stuck, miserable, or irritable sometimes. How do you rise above this
depressive state?
Five
recovery steps
[1] You must acknowledge your state of
imbalance, and be not in denial of your feelings. Awareness of your state is the
first step of recovery. Embrace your feelings and emotions and consciously
decide to change them for the better.
[2] Ask yourself two questions: first, “can I live
with best consequences of this situation? ”Second, “can I live with the worst
consequences of this situation?” Invariably, you will find that you can
accommodate both extreme conditions, thus you will be able to handle anything
in between. Accordingly, the
future should hold no fear for you.
[3] When you give verbal expression to your
concerns, it raises the possibility of resolving the issue. Select someone you
can trust who is committed to you, and confide in him/her.
[4] Identify and confront the overall action required
to resolve your situation, and break it down into small steps.
[5] You empower yourself when you take the first
small action step towards the solution, and keep the momentum of activating the
other positive action steps.
Be courageous and step outside your comfort
zone.
