Nurture your unique talents
International and national icons exude positive energy. However, while each icon is special, he/she cannot excel in all fields. For example, Roger Federer, male tennis champion, cannot excel in boxing. Brian Lara, world cricket champion cannot excel in football. Serena Williams, ladies tennis champion, cannot excel in ice- skating. President Barack Obama, the great politician, cannot excel in baseball. The common factor is that each icon nurtured and developed his or her special skill. What about you?
Each of us has a special part to play in the design of the Universe. Ensure that you play your part well. Reflect and identify the area that people praise you for most. Develop that gift to its fullest. Your unique contribution that you have to make to society may not appear important, but it is. A little salt may not appear important but it makes all the difference to the final taste of the food. So too is the contribution that you have to make to society.
You may ask what can I contribute? Your contribution is to develop fully whatever you are best at doing. It may be your career, family, sports, spirituality, caring for others, or whatever it is that you excel at. Step up to the plate. Raise the stakes. Believe in yourself. Awake and let your brilliance shine. Polish the diamond that you are. You can do it. Think uplifting thoughts, and act with intentionality to achieve your dreams, while fulfilling your life’s destiny. Go for it!
You have the power to make the world a better place by your unique contributions. Do it, and be energized.
