Honor YourCommitments

HONOR YOUR COMMITMENTS

The extent to which you honor your commitments, is the extent

to which you generate your success. You either keep your

commitments to yourself, and to others, or you do not keep

them. When you do not keep your commitments, forget about

the excuses. You simply have sabotaged your success. Failure

to honor one commitment does not mean that you will not be

successful, but the habit of not keeping commitments will

certainly lead to non-achievement of your goals.

If you make a commitment, honor it. If you make a promise,

keep it. If you set a goal achieve it. Success results from

making and keeping commitments to yourself and others.

Goals, projects and relationships that fail are the direct

result of broken commitments. It’s that simple, that

profound, and that important. A commitment made, must

be honored, as each one is ultimately interconnected with

your success.

The power of your commitment to success suggests that

you should only give your word or commitment when it is

important to give, and has meaning in its accomplishment.

Thus, do not give your word merely to get rid of the moment.

For example, telling someone you will telephone or call

him/her with no commitment, or intention to really do it.

How great is the power of your commitments? Remember

that your ability to honor your commitments directly

impacts your credibility, reputation, trustworthiness,

earning ability, and overall peace of mind.

You are simply one person, but you can still make a

difference in this world. You cannot do everything, but

you can do anything you put your mind to do with

passion and consistency Start the day right with vision

and focus, and finish the day strong, having honored

your commitments. Be the success that you are

capable of being.
